The Pinnacle SoundBridge M1001 (previously by Roku Labs) makes your digital music library available anywhere you want. This good looking network music player links your hifi or powered speakers to your digital music collection. Now all those tunes stored on your PC or NAS device can be streamed to anywhere in the house or office - all via a wireless Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet network. It's sleek design and petite size means that it looks good anywhere - it could be placed on a bookshelf, on a kitchen worktop or even a bedside table. The large vacuum florescent display is easy to read and looks gorgeous - with built-in music visualizers that move with the music. The Pinnacle SoundBridgeis also one of the most compatible network music players available - it plays directly from iTunes (except protected AAC files), Windows Media Connect (XP SP2) or any UPnP AV compatible media server such as the Mediabolic and TwonkyMedia servers built into many NAS devices. As well as playing your digital music collection the SoundBridge M1001 also streams Internet radio, so you always have new music to listen too. Choose from the many thousands of online radio stations from around the World that are broadcast over the Internet. You don't even need a computer or NAS device turned on to play Internet radio - the SoundBridge connects out directly onto the Internet through your ADSL or cable router.
Easy For Anyone To Use Setting up the Pinnacle SoundBridge is a piece of cake. There is no software to install - just plug in and start playing. As soon as you power up the SoundBridge it guides you through connecting to the network with on-screen menus. Before you know it you'll be listening to your digital music at hifi quality. Browsing your music library is simple for anyone in the family to do - just navigate your playlists and albums on the bright display with the elegant remote control - there's no need to mess around with your computer.
Third Party ReviewsToms Hardware - Product Review: SoundBridge Network Music Player (M1000): "Installation of the box was a breeze... with zero configuration, I had instant access to thousands of my mp3's. This is the way that home network appliances should work! It literally couldn't have been any easier. A few intuitive menu selections later, and I was listening to a classic Eagles song." What Hi-Fi?
